GedBe provides professional home and commercial services, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning Services: Residential cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, Airbnb turnover, commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and carpet cleaning
- Handyman Services: Minor repairs, small installations, wall patching, furniture assembly, painting retouches, and pressure washing
- Tapestry & Sewing Services: Tapestry repairs, cushion/pillow sewing, drapery adjustments, upholstery touch-ups, custom sewing, and textile decor projects
Service availability may vary by location. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.
2. Booking and Scheduling
- Bookings can be made through our website or by contacting us directly. All bookings are subject to availability.
- By placing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
- We will confirm your booking via email or phone. A booking is not finalized until you receive confirmation from us.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to book a service.
- You are responsible for providing accurate access instructions and ensuring a safe working environment for our service professionals.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices displayed on our website are in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Final pricing may vary based on the scope of work, property size, condition, and any add-on services requested.
- A travel fee may apply based on your location.
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.
- Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. For recurring services, payments are charged according to the agreed schedule.
- Promotional discounts (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) are applied to recurring service bookings only and may be subject to additional terms.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 24+ hours before the scheduled service: Full refund or free rescheduling.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost may apply.
- No-shows: If our team arrives and cannot access the property or the customer is unavailable without prior notice, the full service fee may be charged.
- Refund requests: If you are dissatisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 48 hours. We will review your concern and may offer a re-service or partial refund at our discretion.
- Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
5. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to the following:
- Provide a safe, accessible work environment for our service professionals
- Secure or remove valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings before the service
- Disclose any known hazards, including but not limited to pest infestations, mold, structural issues, or aggressive pets
- Ensure that someone 18 years or older is available to provide access at the scheduled time (or provide access instructions in advance)
- Communicate special instructions or areas of concern prior to the service
6. Liability and Damages
- GedBe carries general liability insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage to your property during a service, please notify us within 24 hours with photos and a description of the damage.
- We will investigate all claims promptly and, where our liability is confirmed, arrange for repair or provide appropriate compensation.
- We are not liable for damage to items that were not disclosed as fragile, pre-existing damage, or damage caused by normal wear and tear.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the total amount paid for that specific service.
- GedBe is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
7. Service Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service provided, please contact us within 48 hours and we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a complimentary re-service of the affected areas. This guarantee does not apply if the service area has been altered or used significantly after service completion.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the GedBe website, including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, and software, is the property of GedBe or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
9. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website or its systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect data from the website without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the website's functionality or the servers and networks connected to it
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking information
- Impersonate any person or entity
10. Reviews and Testimonials
By submitting a review or testimonial through our website, you grant GedBe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your review on our website, social media, and marketing materials. You confirm that your review is based on a genuine experience and does not contain defamatory, offensive, or misleading content.
11. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to directly solicit, hire, or contract with any GedBe employee or service professional for services outside of GedBe for a period of 12 months following the last service provided. Violation of this clause may result in a referral fee equal to the cost of the last service performed.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GedBe, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the United States, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which GedBe is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
